INTERTEKSTUALITAS KISAH ISA DAN MARYAM DALAM AL-QUR’AN DAN AL-KITAB

Abstract

Debates to bloodshed often occur on the basis of religion. This fact is inseparable from the information presented by the religious text itself. Therefore, seeing the text of the scriptures between religions is a necessity. This study discusses the analysis of the story of Maryam and Isa in the perspective of the Qur'an and the Bible which includes three main problems, namely: first, how is the story of Jesus and Mary in the perspective of the Qur'an? Second, what is the story of Jesus and Mary in the perspective of the Bible? Third, how are the similarities and differences of the story of Maryam and Isa in the perspective of the Qur'an and the Book? This research is a library research with an intertextual approach, where the figures of Maryam and Isa are not only seen from one side of the Qur'anic text, but also the text of the Bible. The results of this study indicate that, there are several points of similarity and difference between the two. Among the similarities is that both the Qur'an and the Bible state that Maryam was a holy virgin. The striking difference can be seen from the aspects of the Family and Birth of Maryam and the Nasab of Isa, where the Qur'an clearly mentions Isa to Maryam by calling "Isa bin Maryam". Whereas in the Book itself it states that Jesus was attributed to Joseph.
